LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Arkansas House today passed a bill to increase the state minimum wage from $5.15 per hour to $6.25 per hour.

The Senate approved the increase on Tuesday and the House followed with today's 92-to-2 vote.

The measure has the backing of a group proposing a constitutional amendment to raise the wage.
