LITTLE ROCK, AR - Senator Blanche Lincoln says a bill she's introduced will provide better health care choices for working for small businesses.
Lincoln said yesterday the crisis of escalating health care costs is becoming worse. She introduced her bill, called The Small Employers Health Benefits Program Act of 2006, with fellow Democrat Dick Durbin of Illinois.
The measure would allow businesses with up to a hundred employees to lower their health care prices by banding together, pooling their purchasing power and spreading their risk over a large number of participants.
