JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Missouri has begun tracking some
criminals with Global Positioning System devices.
Thirteen offenders already have been outfitted with the G-P-S
devices under a pilot program that began last week. The Department
of Corrections says it eventually plans to put the high-tech
monitoring equipment on 60 offenders on probation or parole.
