CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO - Police in Cape Girardeau are investigating the vandalism of a fraternity house at Southeast Missouri State University, the third this school to be vandalized.

The Sigma Phi Epsilon home was broken into and vandalized Saturday afternoon.  Countertops, a billiards table and curtains were painted, furniture was flipped, Christmas ornaments and glassware were broken.

A fraternity officer believes a rival frat is to blame.

In March, graffiti was spray-painted on the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity house.  And in October, nine men were charged with trespassing and property damage for sneaking into the Pi Kappa Alpha Lodge and spray-painting the walls of a room.
