EPC Student Killed in Wreck Near Payneway

MARKED TREE, AR - A 17-year-old Lepanto youth was killed last night in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. 63 near Payneway.

According to a State Police accident report, the accident occured at 11:12 p.m. when a southbound pick-up truck driven by Micah Woodall exited the roadway and struck a guardrail, before overturning and coming to rest 50 feet from the highway.  Woodall was pronounced dead at the scene by the Poinsett County Coronor. 

A passenger in the vehicle, 17-year-old Jessica Teague, was injured and taken to a Memphis hospital.
