Butler County Authorities Investigating Double Homicide

Poplar Bluff, MO -  

    There has been an apparent double-homicide in Butler County, Missouri. The Butler County Sheriff's Office says foul play was involved... The "Major Case Squad" is handling the investigation. Right now, little is known, but we can tell you the victims' names are Debrah Reynolds and Roger McCollum. Their bodies were found by a family member who went to their home on County Road 527 to check on them. 

   According to a news release from the Sheriff's Department, deputies received a call at approximately 10 a.m. in reference to a residence on County Road 527.  The investigation is proceding as a homicide. 

   An autopsy is scheduled for 9:30 this morning.  K8 News will have more information tonight at six.
