Marmaduke Preparing for Alternative Polling Places Due to Tornado Damage

MARMADUKE, AR - Election officials in Marmaduke say they hope voters adjust to a new polling place for the Greene County town.

An April 2 tornado that swept through town destroyed the city's community center, which has served as the town's polling place.

Election officials have decided to move the polling place to Marmaduke First Methodist Church, at least for the May 23 primary.

Officials say they hope a new community center is built in time for the November general election.

Early voting begins May 8 and continues through May 22.
