Jonesboro Chamber's Business Expo Set for Today at ASU

JONESBORO, AR - The Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce's 2006 Business Expo is set for today at the ASU Convocation Center.  "Wild, Wild West" is the theme for this year's event.  The annual event is co-sponsored by KAIT.

Today's event marks the 17th year for the Business Expo, which began at 7 a.m. and will continue until 4 o'clock this afternoon.  The event is open through invitation only until 1 p.m., and is open to the public from 1 to 4.

Last year's Expo featured more than 280 exhibitors and 6,500 visitors.

K8 News will feature a live report from the event today on Midday, at 11 a.m.

    The Arkansas Legislature just recently passed a couple of bills that would benefit victims of domestic violence. Those bills are HB1534 or Act 577 and HB 1420 or Act 583.
