HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) _ Police say a Hot Springs woman shot and

wounded a man who allegedly exposed himself outside the woman's

home for two consecutive nights. Thirty-seven-year-old Kevin N.

Mestel of Hot Springs faces a charge of public sexual indecency.

The shooting occurred early Sunday and a prosecutor will

consider whether a charge should be filed against the woman. The

sheriff did not release the 30-year-old woman's name.

Officials said the woman had made numerous calls to the

sheriff's department to complain that a man was prowling around her

home and exposing himself. A deputy's report says the woman fired a

warning shot near the man on Saturday night. The report says the

man ``jumped in the air'' and ran as he tried to pull up his pants.

Authorities say Mestel returned the next night and was ``howling

like a dog'' and throwing rocks at the woman's window while

exposing himself.
