County Official Beaten, Two Arrested

HUNTSVILLE, Ark. (AP) _ A Madison County justice of the peace

was treated for a gash on his head and two men have been charged

with beating him. Justice of the Peace Hooshang Nazarali suffered

the injury in the attack last weekend after he stopped on a county

road to help two men who appeared to be having car trouble. The

prosecutor says Roy Dean Jarvias Junior of Crosses and Cameron

Garrett Jones have been charged in the attack. The incident

happened on a county road near Crosses. Nazarali owns Crosses

Grocery and Cafe. He was treated at Washington Regional Medical

Center and released.
