CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO - Southeast Missouri State University wants to double the number of international students enrolled at the school in the next two years.
Southeast currently has 202 international students and school officials say they want to boost that number to about 400.
The school in Cape Girardeau will start by hiring a new director of international programs to replace Adelaide Parsons who leaves the university this month after 22 years.
The university will also look at ways to increase its budget for international programs.
