BENTON, MO - The former city court clerk in the southeast Missouri town of Chaffee will serve two years of probation after admitting that she stole from the municipal court.

Robin Dannenmueller pleaded guilty and was sentenced yesterday.  She admitted taking $1,000 in bond money.

In exchange for the guilty plea, prosecutors reduced the stealing charge to a misdemeanor from a felony.

If Dannenmueller completes probation without any additional charges against her, the stealing offense will be removed from her criminal record.
