HEBER SPRINGS, AR - Voters in Heber Springs decide tomorrow whether to allow a deer hunt in the city.
Residents say there are so many deer that the animals have been causing traffic crashes and causing thousands of dollars in damage to local gardens. Deer are sometimes seen in the parking lot of the local Wal-Mart.
Alderman Jackie McPherson says the best option is to hold a bow hunt, and that's what is on tomorrow's ballot.
If the hunt is approved, the Game & Fish Commission will regulate the hunt.
