JEFFERSON CITY, MO - Governor Matt Blunt announced today that a state grant will assist the Oregon County town of Koshkonong with the demolition of a dilapidated building owned by the Oregon-Howell R-lll School District.

The Missouri Department of Economic Development awarded a $105,000 grant to the city on behalf of the project.  The state funds were granted through the department's Community Development Block Grant Program and will be used to demolish an existing 14,725 square foot two-story stone building to comply with the city's safe building codes.
