Crime Stinks! Man Steals Perfume!

We got ourselves an odd one this week. A man uses a box cutter to steal perfume! This is the video of our suspect courtesy of Jonesboro Police and Goody's. The police report states that the suspect came into the Goody's on Highland in Jonesboro opened a case of "Fine Fragrances" perfume and shoplifted three bottles of the stuff. The value of the perfume is only $115 but what happens next makes the crime much more serious.

The police report states that an employee of Goody's confronted this suspect. He denied taking anything. He then used profanity and pulled out the box cutter and threatened that employee.

Customers back up the employee's account. All of the witnesses describe the suspect as about 5'8", weighing between 130-150 pounds. They say he is in his mid to late 30's and has a scruffy beard. If that picture and description is enough for you to make the ID, call Crimestoppers right now and tell police what you know. Call 935-STOP, or toll free, 888-566-STOP. Your calls are anonymous.

This week's Warrant Watchees combine for 17 warrants. Maybe your tip can bring them in. Aaron D. McPherson goes first. He has three lines on his bio. One contempt of court, four revocation of probation, and four non-payment of fines warrants.

George W. Siddons is the runner-up this week. He has five revocation of probation and three non-payment of fines warrants. Tell police where they can find George Siddons or Aaron McPherson and get some money. Call Crimestoppers right now, 935-STOP. Instead of asking your name, they'll give you a tip number. Hang on to it and keep watching Crimestoppers. If there is an arrest in your case, call or e-mail Sgt. Steve McDaniel at JPD and tell him your tip number. He'll tell you if it's worth some Crimestoppers cash. Give 'em a call. And remember when you see crime, call Crimestoppers, 935-STOP.
