AG Candidates Considering Debate

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Attorney general candidate Paul Suskie wants to debate his rival in the Democratic primary runoff, state Representative Dustin McDaniel of Jonesboro.

Suskie is the North Little Rock city attorney.  He finished second in last week's primary to McDaniel, a downtown Jonesboro-based attorney.

McDaniel says he's willing to debate Suskie if the session is on live television.  The Arkansas Educational Television Network carries political debates, but the network says it usually does not carry debates for a run-off.

The winner of the Democratic run-off will face Republican Gunner DeLay of Fort Smith in the general election on November 7.
