McDaniel Calls Out Suskie on Debate Issue

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Dustin McDaniel says he hopes the two candidates in the Democratic attorney general runoff can stop talking about whether they'll debate and start talking about the issues.

McDaniel, a Jonesboro Democrat, said yesterday he's willing to debate opponent Paul Suskie, but he's tired of Suskie's press releases on the matter.

Suskie finished second in the May 23 primary and secured a runoff against McDaniel.  He challenged McDaniel on Tuesday to a debate, and in a letter to McDaniel yesterday that was also released to media outlets, Suskie proposed taping the debate June 8 or 9, to be broadcast June 11 or 12.
