Two Bootheel Men Named in Federal Drug Indictments

HAYTI, MO - A joint investigation by the Bootheel Drug Task Force and the SEMO Drug Task Force has resulted in federal drug indictments against two southeast Missouri men.

Gregory Gamlin, 38, of Malden, is charged with possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of crack cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute cocaine.  Michael Luster, 33, of Hayti, is charged with two counts of distribution of cocaine base.

Gamlin was arrested Thursday following a traffic stop in Malden, while Luster was also arrested yesterday by police in Hayti.

The DTFs were assisted in the investigation by the police departments in Malden and Hayti, the Missouri Highway Patrol and the Dunklin County Sheriff's Department.

The investigation is continuing, and more arrests are possible.
