AG Candidates Debate Today as Runoff Campaign Winds Down

JUNE 12, 2006 - Posted at 7:57 a.m. CST

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Democratic attorney general candidates Dustin McDaniel and Paul Suskie square off in a radio debate this morning on the final day of campaigning before tomorrow's runoff elections.

This morning's debate between the two candidates for attorney general will cap off more than a week of public wrangling between the two over when and how they would debate.  McDaniel and Suskie finally agreed to a matchup on Arkansas Priority Radio Network's "Pat Lynch Show," which airs in several markets and online.

Whoever wins the runoff faces Republican Gunner DeLay, a former state senator from Fort Smith, in November.
