Teen Hurt as Dump Truck T-Bones SUV in West Jonesboro

JONESBORO, AR - A two-vehicle accident in west Jonesboro this morning left one person injured.

The wreck occured shortly before 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Dan Avenue and Gee Street, near the Riceland mill.  The name of the victim has not been released by police because she is a juvenile, but apparently the accident occured as a dump truck driven by 46-year-old Blake Benefield of Paragould struck an SUV driven by the teenager.

The driver of the SUV was taken by ambulance to St. Bernard's Medical Center for treatment.
