FAYETTEVILLE-  A Berryville couple has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Tyson Foods after one of the company's trucks struck the family's van, killing an infant.

Gary Edwards, his wife, Gina, and the couple's seven children are listed as plaintiffs in the suit, which was filed Friday in Washington County Circuit Court. The wreck happened on January 20 near Eureka Springs when the family was en route to a skating rink.

The truck's driver, Joseph Post, was injured in the crash and is not named as a defendant in the suit. The couple and five children were injured in the crash. The suit seeks wrongful death and injury damages.

According to the lawsuit, Gina Edwards was driving her van on Arkansas 23 when a tractor-trailer driven by Post slid into the wrong lane. The tractor-trailer then struck the minivan head-on. The couple's infant daughter, Autumn, died at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, Mo.
