One of Two of Tennessee's 'Most Wanted' Found in West Memphis

JULY 7, 2006 - Posted at 11:39 a.m. CDT

WEST MEMPHIS, AR - A man who was recently placed on Tennessee's Top Ten Most Wanted list has been found in a West Memphis jail after he was arrested on unrelated charges.

Ricky Terrell Cox, 22, is now in custody for Tennessee charges of attempted second degree murder, aggravated kidnapping and attempted aggravated robbery.

Cox and 19-year-old Michael Deshun Hayes are wanted in the April 30 home invasion and robbery in Lauderdale County, Tennessee.

Cox was arrested Tuesday in West Memphis on a warrant for failure to satisfy a commitment.  West Memphis police are looking into why his Tennessee warrants didn't show when Cox was entered into the computer system.  Officials learned Cox was on the Most Wanted list when they saw him on television.
