Huckabee Names Mountain Home Man to Game & Fish Commission

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Ron Pierce of Mountain Home has been name to a seat on the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

Pierce and his wife Janice own Bass Cat Boats, a maker of fiberglass boats designed for bass fishing.

Governor Huckabee, who appointed Pierce, says he has known Pierce for years and that they fish together.

The 71-year-old Pierce is a former mayor of Mountain Home.

Pierce replaces commissioner Mike Freeze, whose term has ended.  Pierce's term is for seven years.
