Talent to Host Regional Farm Bill Field Hearing in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO - U.S. Senator Jim Talent of Missouri will be joined by Georgia Senator Saxby Chambliss at a regional hearing for the 2007 Farm bill on Monday at 9 a.m. in Cape Girardeau.

Chambliss (R) chairs the Senate Agriculture Committee.

The hearing will be held at Glenn Auditorium in Dempster Hall (room 105) on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.

Talent and Chambliss will receive testimony from several witnesses during the hearing, including Paul T. Combs of Kennett, representing the USA Rice Federation, and Allen Helms of Crittenden County (AR), representing the National Cotton Council.
