Bootheel Authorities Round Up Drug Suspects

CARUTHERSVILLE, MO - Agents with the Bootheel Drug Task Force and other southeast Missouri-based law enforcement agencies participated in what Pemiscot County Sheriff Tommy Greenwell called a "nationwide roundup conducted by various federal, state and local agencies yesterday.

Bootheel authorities arrested 12 people in Pemiscot County.

They include:

-Mark Kentner, 42, Wardell, charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

-Demetric Thompson, 36, Hayti, charged with delivery of a controlled substance (crack cocaine).

-Alfred Fisher, 41, Hayti, charged with delivery of a controlled substance (two counts).

-Jamie Blair, 27, Caruthersville, charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine and marijauna).

-Clint Blair, 27, Caruthersville, charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine and marijuana).

-Brohanda Rogers, 36, Caruthersville, charged with delivery of a controlled substance (crack cocaine).

-Michael Mcnees, 20, Caruthersville, charged with first degree trafficking of a controlled substance (marijuana).

-Leigh Ann Day, 30, Steele, charged with possession of a controlled substance.

-Ernest Brucks, 42, Steele, charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine).

-Tammy Kennedy, 41, Steele, charged with possession of a controlled substance.

-Robert Simmons, 43, Steele, charged with two counts of purchasing more than nine grams of pseudo ephedrine in a 30-day period.

-Rufus Sanders, 23, Steele, charged with first degree trafficking of a controlled substance (crack cocaine) and delivery of a controlled substance (crack cocaine).
