Caruthersville Emergency Manager to Be Honored by National Weather Service

CARUTHERSVILLE, MO - The National Weather Service will honor Caruthersville Fire Chief and City Emergency Manager Charlie Jones later this month for his heroics in the April 2 tornado which ripped apart much of his southeast Missouri town.

Jones will be honored on August 29 in a ceremony at the city's public library, featuring 8th District Congresswoman Jo Ann Emerson and officials with the NWS.
