More Information On The Valley View Adult Education Center

Jonesboro-- There are countless resources to utilize at the Valley View Adult Education Center in Jonesboro.

Programs offered include GED track, Adult Basic Education, English as a Second Language, Computer Literacy Courses, High School Credit Recovery, Workplace Skills, ACT/ASSET prep.

Hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Friday from 8 a.m. to noon.

Free 3- week Asset Prep Courses

Classes are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons or evenings.  

Classes are from 2:30-5 or 5:30-8.  You must pre-register for the September 5th starting date.

There are also numerous opportunities to improve your computer skills.

You must pre-register and the next eight class offerings are set up at the following times starting August 21st and August 22nd.

Section 1- Monday and Wednesday 9 a.m. - 10:50 a.m

Section 2-Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. - 10:50 a.m.

Section 3-Monday and Wednesday 11 a.m. - 12:50 p.m.

Section 4-Tuesday and Thursday 11 a.m. - 12:50 p.m.

Section 5-Monday and Wednesday 1 p.m. - 2:50 p.m.

Section 6-Tuesday and Thursday 1 p.m. - 2:50 p.m.

Section 7-Monday and Wednesday 6 p.m. - 7:50 p.m.

Section 8-Tuesday and Thursday 6 p.m. - 7:50 p.m.

    According to Mississippi County Sheriff Dale Cook, a body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab in Little Rock for an autopsy after the body was discovered this weekend in the Mississippi River.
