Sean Hannity to Kick Off Harding's Lecture Series

SEARCY, AR - Cable television and radio talk show host Sean Hannity begins the 2006-07 American Studies Institute's Distinguished Lecture Series at Harding University, on September 21.

Hannity joined the FOX News Channel in 1996 as co-host of "Hannity & Colmes," which has become the highest-viewed debate show on cable television.  He also hosts "The Sean Hannity Show" three hours daily from his studios at the ABC Radio Network.  Syndicated on 430 stations nationwide, the show reaches 14 million listeners daily.

In October 2003, Hannity received the Marconi Award for Network/Syndicated Personality of the Year.  Four months later, he was named National Talk Host of the Year at the Annual Radio & Records Talk Radio Seminar in Washington.  Talkers magazine has also named him Talk Show Host of the Year and one of the Top 100 Talks Hosts in America.

Hannity's presentation is set for 6:15 p.m. at Benson Auditorium.  Tickets are not required, and seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
