Looking For Some Crafty Check Forgers

This week's crime of the week features three suspects who are making out like bandits. This is security video from a local Bankcorp South branch. In it, you see the three men detectives suspect of some serious forgery charges. Police believe the men somehow got a hold of a local company's payroll checks and have been printing off thousands of dollars worth of phony paychecks to themselves. Take another look, if you think you could provide an ID to any of these men call Crimestoppers right now, 935-STOP. Your tips are anonymous and you could get cash.

Were bogged down on Warrant Watch this week with a total of 29 warrants. Jason Lynn Gordon provides half of our list. He has 14 non payment of fines warrants following him around.

Then there's Shalonda E. Coleman. She has 6 non-payment of fines and 8 probation violation warrants out of Jonesboro. She is also wanted by Craighead County for felony probation violation. JPD would love to clear this paperwork off the desk. Call with your tip and help them out. Call 935-STOP and tell police what you know. They won't ask your name, they'll give you a tip number. Write it down and keep watching Crimestoppers to see if your tip turned into an arrest. If it did, call or email Sgt. Steve McDaniel at JPD and tell him your tip number. He'll tell you if it's worth some Crimestoppers, cash, give 'em a call. And remember, when you see crime, call Crimestoppers. 935-STOP.
