PARAGOULD, AR - A 15-year-old boy who may have been bullied at Greene County Tech Junior High School last year has been arrested and admitted to a mental health facility after he allegedly threatened to shoot high school students.

The boy was arrested on a charge of terroristic threatening.  Officials say he was being held on bond and that, when he is released from mental health care, he will be taken into the custody of the Greene County Sheriff's Office.

Officials say the suspect had apparently been bullied during the previous school year.

The boy and his family were interviewed August 11 by two sheriff's deputies.  The boy denied he intended to shoot students at the high school.  But the boy's younger brother said the 15-year-old was poking holes in the faces of kids in his junior high yearbook and said he was making his hit list.

The boy's parents voluntarily surrendered all firearms in the home, including five long guns.
