ST. LOUIS, MO - Gasoline prices are falling across Missouri, promising lower prices at the pump for for motorists heading out on road trips over the Labor Day weekend.
Average pump prices have fallen nearly ten percent since the first week of August, from nearly $3 per gallon to about about $270 per gallon today.
AAA Auto Club of Missouri's Mike Right says the global price of crude oil has dropped because fighting has slowed in the Middle East while no big hurricanes have hit the U.S.
Right warned prices could jump again if either of those things happen.
