Sharp County Authorities Put ID on Hardy Bank Robber

AUGUST 29, 2006 - Posted at 10:52 a.m. CDT

ASH FLAT, AR - Sharp County authorities have been able to identify the man they believe responsible for the August 8 robbery of the First Community Bank of Hardy.

The Sheriff's Department is searching for John Earl Hall, 43, a former inmate in the Missouri Department of Corrections' Jefferson City facility.  Hall had apparently served a sentence for a theft by reception conviction before being released on parole.  Hall was supposed to report to a halfway house in the Kansas City area, but never reported there.

Investigators have also learned that Hall has family in the Marked Tree and Tyronza areas in Poinsett County.  Meanwhile, authorities in Missouri have issued a warrant for Hall for parole violation.

Hall is considered armed and dangerous with a history of vehicle theft in Arkansas, Missouri, Florida and Illinois.

If you see this individual, do not take action yourself. Please call the Sharp County Sheriff's office at (870) 994-7355
