FORREST CITY, AR - The Arkansas Climate Awareness Project will host a public forum in Forrest City on September 14, to discuss the potential impacts of global warming on Arkansas.

The forum will also focus on the role the state's agricultural community can play in solutions to global warming.  According to director Don Richardson, "Many of these solutions, such as biofuels, solar energy, and carbon sequestration, show promise in helping to reduce global warming while providing economic opportunities for the state."

Forum sessions will consist of presentations including global warming, agriculture, and renewable energy.

The event begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Forrest City Civic Center.
