JONESBORO, AR - Bond has been set at $250,000 for a Jonesboro man accused of robbing a local bank yesterday.

Lloyd Bernard Ford appeared in Craighead County District Court this afternoon for a probable cause hearing.  He allegedly robbed the main bank of Region's Bank in downtown Jonesboro early Tuesday afternoon.  Then, in a rather strange twist, he surrendered to Jonesboro police without incident a few minutes later at a nearby attorney's office on Church Street.

Police say they still don't have a motive for the incident.  Meanwhile, Ford's next court appearance is set for September 29.
