Three Northeast Arkansas Colleges Get Lion's Share of Federal Grant Money for Tech Programs

WEST MEMPHIS, AR - Five colleges and universities in Arkansas, including three in Region 8, have been awarded a $916,000 National Science Foundation grant intended to boost enrollment in engineering, math, science and technology programs.

The grant will be shared by Mid-South Community College in West Memphis, Arkansas Northeastern College in Blytheville, East Arkansas Community College in Forrest City, Phillips County Community College in Helena and the University of Arkanas' Fort Smith campus.
