Iraqi Police Discover 65 Bodies Bearing Signs of Torture

BAGHDAD, IRAQ - Iraqi police made some gruesome discoveries today, as police themselves continued to be the target of insurgents.

Also, the U.S. military announced the deaths of two more U.S. soldiers.

The bodies of 65 men who had been tortured, then shot, were found dumped around Baghdad and south of the capital.

Also in Baghdad, car bombs and mortor attacks killed more than 30 people.

The deadliest bombing occured near the main headquarters of Baghdad's traffic police department.  At least two of the 19 people killed were traffic police officers.

The U.S. military says a soldier died Monday from enemy action in Anbar province, while another was killed yesterday in a roadside bombing south of Baghdad.
