Forum on Global Warming Set for Today in Forrest City

FORREST CITY, AR - The Arkansas Climate Awareness Project will host a public forum discussing the potential impacts of global warming on the Natural State today at the Forrest City Civic Center.  The event is being co-hosted by the East Arkansas Enterprise Community, Inc.

The forum will focus on the role that Arkansas' agricultural community can play in solutions to global warming.  Supporters say many of these solutions, such as biofuels, solar energy and carbon sequestration, who promise in helping to reduce global warming while providing economic opportunities for the state.

Sessions will consist of presentations from global warming, agricultural, and renewable energy experts.

The Forrest City Civic Center is located at 1335 North Washington Street.
