CAMPBELL, MO - A 20-year-old Campbell man was killed this morning and another man injured in an accident that occured at approximately 10:30 a.m., approximately two miles north of Campbell.

The names of the victims have not yet been released, but Dunklin County Sheriff Bob Holder says the accident occured as the two men were attempting to load 30-foot irrigation pipes onto a trailer.  One of the pipes apparently came in contact with a 69,000-volt utility line, thus electrocuting one man and seriously injuring the other.  The survivor was airlifted to The Med in Memphis.

Holder said the accident occured near the intersection of Highway DD and Highway 53.  Both victims are believed to be from the Campbell area.
