Caruthersville Woman Pleads Guilty to Federal Charges as Part of Massive Meth Distribution Network

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Bud Cummins, the U.S. Attorney for Eastern Arkansas, says a southeast Missouri woman is one of 33 defendants charged in a federal indictment that have entered guilty pleas for their participation in an organization responsible for transporting methamphetamine from Arizona to Arkansas, Missouri and Texas for distribution and related offenses.

The woman is identified as 36-year-old Kristy Castelli of Caruthersville.  Castelli pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine, conspiracy to launder drug proceeds, and criminal forfeiture of drug proceeds and firearms.
