SeMo Soldier Killed in Iraq Laid to Rest in Hometown

JACKSON, MO - Army Corporal Jeremy Shank was buried in his hometown of Jackson yesterday.

The 18-year-old Shank was killed September 6 in Balad, Iraq, when his security patrol came under small arms fire.

His father, Jim Shank, remembered his son as a young man with a huge heart and a sense of humor.
