Police Looking for Suspect in Mountain View Tire Iron Attack

MOUNTAIN HOME, AR - Authorities in Mountain Home are looking for a man who reportedly attacked a hotel clerk with a tire iron.  The assault happened at a Best Western in Mountain Home early Saturday morning.  The suspect rented a room at the hotel, then called the female front-desk clerk to tell her he had a problem with his room.  When the clerk went to the hotel room, the man attacked her with a tire iron.

The woman was taken to the Baxter Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The suspect is desribed as a white male, about 5-foot-9 inches tall and weighing between 140-160 pounds.  The suspect was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and either blue jeans or khaki-colored pants.
