No doubt about it change is in the air. We're about to witness a resurrection of the 80's with a touch of the 60's mixed in the flair.
I'm Ashley Malloy and I've been a Cosmetologist for almost four years now. Four months after graduating from Manila High School I attended Arkansas Academy of Hair Design of Paragould. I never thought I'd be a hair stylist, but everyone knew I had a passion for it . As soon as I graduated from the Academy I moved to North Little Rock and worked at JC Penney's Salon for a year but decided to move back towards Manila. I worked with my mother in her salon but Manila was just too much of a drive every day. So now I'm at Body Reflections Hair Salon. I've trained with the company Scruples to become a Color Educator and color is what I most enjoy about my job. I specialize in Color, Highlights, Cuts, Up-dos, Perms and Waxing.
As we move into Fall/Winter 2006, we move into a season of timeless glamour, with modern touches that make the colors and the looks very new. If you love rich colors and a diversity of styles, this is your season to shine. Fall's beauty color palette is very sophisticated, with shades ranging from warm brick reds, rich browns and sweet toffees, to light shades of nature and earth.
Hair fashions this season offers the timeless elegance of an era like the Forties, but loosened up for today's busy woman and active lifestyle. It draws its inspiration from a myriad of luxurious styles, including Victorian, Jazz Age, the opulent Eighties, and touches of menswear - juxtaposed with a chic, spare look taken from urban streets.
