Three Greene County Escapees Captured

OCTOBER 16, 2006 - Posted at 8:47 a.m. CDT

PARAGOULD, AR - Three inmates who escaped from the Greene County Detention Center early this morning have reportedly all been captured by authorities.

Police scanner traffic at about 7:30 a.m. had dispatchers issuing a 'bolo' for the three, one of which was identified as Jordan Langston, a white male from Kennett, MO.  KAIT employees monitoring the scanners were unable to make out the names of the second and third escapees, but one is believed to be a white male from Rector.  The trio apparently escaped around 3 a.m.

Sheriff Dan Langston told K8 News by phone just minutes ago that three have all been captured this morning, explaining that two were caught inside the Paragould city limits and one in Dunklin County, Missouri.  The two captured in Paragould are back in custody at the Greene County jail, while the other inmate is currently in the custody of Missouri authorities, awaiting return to Greene County.
