SeMo Counties Make Drug Arrests

CARUTHERSVILLE, MO - The Bootheel Drug Task Force was joined by officers with the Pemiscot County Sheriff's and Hayti Police departments this morning in executing a search warrant that resulted in one arrest, and the confiscation of drugs, drug paraphernalia and firearms and ammunition.

Sheriff Tommy Greenwell says officers seized marijuana, paraphernalia, two handguns (one of which had been reported stolen), a shotgun and several rounds of ammunition at a residence in Hayti Heights.

The name of the suspect is being withheld until formal charges are filed.

Meanwhile in Stoddard County, 39-year-old Randy Hoggard and 34-year-old Chad Bostic, both of Bloomfield, were arrested Sunday night following a lengthy investigation by the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department and the SEMO Drug Task Force.
