FORREST CITY, AR - State Police have identified a tractor-trailer driver who was killed in a fiery crash on Interstate 40.

Police say 62-year-old Earl Talley of Memphis died in the crash yesterday near Forrest City.

Talley's 18-wheeler burst into flames upon striking the rear of another westbound 18-wheeler near the rest area just east of the Crowley's Ridge Road exit.

The accident occured just before 6:45 a.m.  The other driver wasn't hurt.

The eastbound and westbound lanes of the interstate were closed Wednesday morning.  The eastbound lanes reopened about 9 a.m., while the westbound lanes remained closed until after 3 p.m. as workers cleaned up the debris.

State police are still investigating the accident.
