Southeast Missouri Soldier Dies in Iraq

NEW MADRID, MO - A 24-year-old soldier from New Madrid has died while serving in Iraq.

First Lieutenant Camden Bock was on patrol in Baghdad Sunday when his vehicle was struck by a roadside bomb.  Bock was a member of the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Bock's family was informed of his death Monday by officials from Fort Campbell.  He is the son of Riley and Jill Bock of New Madrid.  Riley Bock is a former prosecuting attorney for New Madrid County.  Jill Bock is managing editor of the Sikeston Standard-Democrat.
