Huckabee Finishes New York Marathon Despite Sore Knee

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Wearing the number 110 to represent how much weight he's lost, Governor Huckabee finished the New York City Marathon in a little over five-and-a-half hours.  That's a slower time than he had been running, by more than an hour, and he attributed his slowness to a sore knee.

Huckabee said after finishing the race that it was clearly not his best run.  But he said it was an amazing experience to run through the boroughs of New York, and to be a part of an event that was so incredibly large and very well-organized.

The governor finished with a time of five hours, 33 minutes and 43 seconds.  His career best was a 4:26:05 last March in the Little Rock Marathon.
