FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (AP) - More than 100 Missouri National Guard soldiers are being debriefed at Fort Leonard Wood after arriving home from Iraq and Afghanistan.

The 935th Division Aviation Support Battalion was welcomed home by hundreds of loved ones and friends Saturday. Another homecoming is planned Thursday in Springfield.

Among the returning troops is Master Sergeant Rick Archer, who missed the birth of his grandson. That's not unusual for military people, but Richard Tanner West was a celebrity before he was even born this summer.

Archer's daughter is Shanya Richardson, who made national headlines after she survived a 10,000-foot fall in a skydiving accident 13 months ago. When she was being treated, doctors found that she was pregnant with the grandson Archer saw for the first time Saturday.
