NOVEMBER 6, 2006 - Posted at 3:33 p.m. CST

DANVILLE, AR - Two of three Oklahomans killed in a plane crash near Danville, Arkansas, have been identified.

Oklahoma Youth Expo director Justin Whitefield and Jenny Parton died in the crash just short of an airport runway.

Youth Expo board chairman Bob Funk says Whitefield was returning from the Breeder's Cup in Louisville, Kentucky.

A friend of Parton's says she had been doing lobbying work for Whitefield.

Danville police chief Kennet Jackson says the pilot was identified as 26-year-old Brandon Wayne Hughes of Ada, Oklahoma.

Danville police detective Kenneth Jackson says the three were aboard a six-passenger plane when the pilot reported engine trouble to air-traffic controllers.

Jackson says the plane went down in a cow pasture about two miles from the runway.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
