JONESBORO, AR - Some parts of Arkansas could see today's voter turnout dampened by a slight chance of rain.
Light rain is widespread across much of Region 8 this morning, and a high of 59 degrees is expected.
Secretary of State Charlie Daniels is predicting that 55 percent of the state's registered voters will vote in this mid-term election. Many Arkansans have already voted, through early or absentee balloting.
Polls opened across the state at 7:30 this morning, and will close at 7:30 p.m.
